Una serie derivada tentativamente titulada "Superman and Lois" está en desarrollo por The CW, con Tyler Hoechlin y Elizabeth "Bitsie" Tulloch listos para repetir sus papeles de la serie de televisión "Supergirl".
Según IGN|-|com, la nueva serie se basará en desarrollos recientes y futuros de Supergirl y se centrará en las presiones que enfrentan Lois y Clark para equilibrar sus vidas profesionales, las responsabilidades de los superhéroes y las complejidades de criar a un hijo. Ese niño será presentado en el próximo crossover de Crisis en Tierras Infinitas, un giro que también explica por qué la pareja ha pasado tanto tiempo fuera del mundo en las últimas temporadas de Supergirl.
Producida por Berlanti Productions y Warner Bros. Television, "Superman and Lois" está siendo escrita y producida por Todd Helbing, ex showrunner de The Flash. Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter y Geoff Johns también serán los productores ejecutivos de la serie.

Si bien no se han anunciado otros miembros del reparto en este momento, no sería sorprendente ver a Jon Cryer regresar como Lex Luthor, junto con otros personajes relacionados con Superman que han aparecido en la serie de televisión "Supergirl" en las últimas cuatro temporadas.
