Susannah York: Actriz británica nacida en Londres Inglaterra, en 1939. La actriz que inició de una manera discreta su carrera, se convirtió incluso en una nominada a los Premios de la Academia, tan solo 9 años después de haber iniciado en la actuación. Participó en películas como Tunes of Glory, The Greengage Summer y They Shoot Horses, Don't They?, por la cual fue nominada. Acostumbrada a rozarse con grandes luminarias de la actuación, como Alec Guinness y Kenneth More, fue en 1978 que ingresó al mundo de Superman, interpretando a la madre de Kal-El en Krypton, Lara. Repitió su papel 2 veces más en Superman II de 1980, y Superman IV en 1987, aunque fue únicamente por medio de su voz. La actriz continuó su carrera activa hasta el año 2010, cuando fue diagnósticada con Cancer, y en 2011, justo después de su cumpleaños número 72, fallece en su casa en Londres. |  |

Y el 19 de enero, Elizabeth Bitsie Tulloch, quien interpreta a Lois Lane en la serie Superman & Lois, nace en California en 1981.
